The Cassiopeia Gift and Home Boutique was born in August 2004 in pursuit of a dream to bring gorgeous gift and home accessories to the west end of Glasgow.

With the help of the Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust and some very good friends, Liza Moran set up Cassiopeia on Hyndland Road, Glasgow, with the vision of creating a welcoming, personalised service for every customer and of sourcing unusual items from around the world with a particular focus on local artists and Scottish design.

The name came from a fascination with the night sky and a beautiful constellation of stars called "Cassiopeia". A star will glitter and shine and is one of life's wonderful joys. This philosophy is reflected in the shop and its products. Our goal is to make your experience as pleasurable as possible, online or in person. We pride ourselves on offering individual attention and if there is anything we can do to help then let us know – we aim to put a sprinkling of sparkle and glamour into everyone's lives and homes!
